Minimal assembly with regards to the table. The table has some weight to it, so I don't see it blowing over. The machined surface is attractive. The plastic feet allow for adjustment on an uneven surface. I was concerned w/the sturdiness of the chairs. They are very light weight and easy to move around. I weigh 220lbs and the bottom slats didn't bend or give at all. The chairs are stack able, but I think you will need to be careful in order to avoid scratches. If you plan to sit in the chairs for an extended period I would recommend investing in a set of seat cushions. One "weird" thing that I noticed is that the aluminum seat slats, especially in the seating area; took on a bright magenta-green-blue rainbow hue after sitting on them for a few minutes. It disappeared the next morning. I'll post an update if it appears to become permanent with regular use.Note: I read some prior reviews mentioning the lack of plastic feet on the chairs. Another showed a rusted rivet. Both issues appear corrected in the set that I purchased. If there is something deficient in a product that you purchase on Amazon, point it out in your review. Apparently some sellers, like the seller of this patio set correct them. Just a suggestion.
