This is a great, inexpensive set for a compact patio or deck space. While the set is pretty sturdy, the cushion quality is low; your mileage will vary from 1-4 seasons, depending on their exposure to the elements and how well (or not) you care for them. We bought the set 4 years ago and after 2 years were looking for replacement cushions. But on the face of it, they are custom sizes, not to be found in the usual home supply stores, and replacing them was seemingly going to cost over $1300! So we put it off and tolerated the cushions for another 2 seasons. This year I'd had enough, and went looking again for replacements...Bingo! Classic Accessories (find them on Amazon or their own site) sells a Ravenna and Montlake line that are extremely well-made and WILL fit this patio set. The covers are weather-resistant and the 3-layer foam is of obviously much higher quality than the originals.For the complete set, you'll need 4 seat cushions measuring 21x20x4 and another 4 back cushions measuring 21x19x3. The cushions will fit the two chairs perfectly; For the sofa, the fit is just a little loose on the sides. If this bothers you at all, you can sandwich just a bit of dark-colored foam between the cushion and frame on each side. This will tighten up the fit and the cushions will maintain their position splendidly. The cushions will set you back around $320. Order an additional set of covers for about $180, and change up the colors whenever you like!Surprisingly sturdy - these sit in full sunlight for more than half the day and after almost a year have shown very little deterioration to the PVC, and the metal supports seem very strong, but the cushions are cheap foam material and cheap fabric. If I didn't keep them indoors when I'm not using them, they would have degraded substantially by now. As it is, they are already compressed by use and don't provide the cushioning they used to. They'll have to be replaced sooner rather than later, but the framework is solid and should last a long time.I purchased this set over 5 yrs ago. I've never covered this set, not even in the winter. I left the cushions out one winter and they were shot after that. I have purchased some replacement ones from Home Depot (they aren't a perfect fit but they work). The actual set doesn't have any wear on it at all. We use them often and they are in an uncovered area. VERY good quality especially for the price. Manual is written by someone who has no interest in his product.Spare parts (screws and bolts) are not provided.Please be vigilant on what screw to use where.This conversation set is absolutely beautiful and for the price point it is a steal! I am not the most handy person, but my husband and I figured that the two chairs would be the most difficult and started assembling them first. The directions (not written directions but rather illustrations) are a little unclear and having the parts labeled would help tremendously, but I would say it was fairly easy to put together. The order in which you need to put the single chairs and sofa together are as follows:1. Parts A and C need to be screwed together first (these parts are the back and 1 side of your chair or sofa)2. Then screw the seat in which is part D3. Then screw another side in which is part BThe table is such a breeze to put together that after figuring out the order of the chairs I didn't need to look at the directions for the table and put that together in literally 10 minutes. The set comes with a tool that makes tightening the screws very easy. The set is comfortable, and I don't feel it is small at all. My husband and daughter are 5'11 and they fit nicely on it. It is also pretty comfortable as I was expecting that it wouldn't be based on some of the reviews about the cushions. No they are not top quality seat and back cushions, but that is an easy fix if someone wanted to change them out. Overall I am extremely pleased with this set!
