First, the directions are extremely complicated. Everything is done from China so all you have to go on is pictures. Step 2 is backwards. it doesn't show the lattice work that hold the seat on and the directions make it look like the bar is toward the front of the leg bottom of the chair. If you put it together the way the diagram looks, like what we did first, when you sit on the chair, you will have a bar in your bottom cutting off your circulation and it is extremely uncomfortable. So, after the entire chair was put together and we put the cushions on, we were very disappointed! My husband figured out that the directions were backwards! We took the Step 2 and turned the bar that they show nearest the lower leg panel, around to be in the back of the chair and that was better.I'm very unimpressed with the cushions. They are maybe 2 inches high and not comfortable at all.If you want my honest opinion having sat on these chairs for the last 4 days, I would tell you NOT to buy this set. The instructions are terrible, assembly is very complicated, even for a guy that is very handy at doing everything, and they are NOT comfortable at all.I'm very disappointed, but I have no idea how to return these chairs and I have no other chairs to replace these chairs. I really don't want to keep trying chairs especially if they're going to be this uncomfortable.Cannot recommend you purchase these chairs. The table is really cute and easy to assemble
