A little uncomfortable and shaky if too much weight is used, but still a perfect cafe set to place in a corner somewhere when you need to perch or sit for a minute. We have ours in corner of pool area, it’s a good enough surface to place a tray on. Slats are far apart. Ours arrived without one screw-in bolt needed to complete assembly, so we had to to go to hardware store to buy one (that keeps slats anchored to metal). For the price, you get what you pay for! Mostly useful…Simple but functional design.. have it outside .. looks like it will hold up for years to come1 of the chairs came w a missing piece. Email the company they responded right away and send me a new set.For the price it’s really nice and sturdy. Solid materials and solid quality. We found one similar in the garage to replace it, only to discover the hole had been stripped. So then we glued the piece in place.
