I had a similar bar height outdoor wicker set, which wasn't cheap. After 4 years, the wicker is cracking and falling apart, even though stored indoors during the winter. We really like the bar height, but I was determined not to buy another wicker type set. The assembly was pretty straight forward. All the holes aligned perfectly. We were missing one screw, but that was easily remedied with a trip to the hardware store. While not as pretty as wicker, this set seems sturdy. I expect it should last twice as long. I don't have to worry about cushions getting wet. It is a little taller than my old set, so make sure you are ok with the height. The chairs are super light, so I do believe they are aluminum. So far so good. Hope it lasts as long as I expect it will...
