Carries 5-7 chairs nicely in a stack (more than that it is a little unstable). The dolly is not super-duty but works fine for general chair stacking and relocation. Be sure to measure the under-chair opening to ensure this will fit as the platform is fairly wide and grabs the bottom chair right under the seat. Worked for all the medium-grade lower-width church chairs we have but ones with low cross bars can only be lifted from other sides.The only dolly I saw that was better was a heavy-duty one the chair factory used which grabbed chairs by the feet and would take stacks of 10 easily, but I haven't found it for sale and am sure it would be twice the price.
