This is a great set for me personally. I was not looking for a big set and this is a great option for those who have a small area, or only want a small set. I will be using it primarily to work on various art projects outdoors and perhaps the occasional meal at the table. Realistically, the benches will sit two very comfortably, or four snuggly. Since the benches are quite narrow, and there is no back support obviously, I do not think they are meant for a long drawn out sitting. But that is fine with me. The benches can be slid under the table when not in use, and they can also be folded and stored on the back side of the table when the unit is being stored. All in all, I am very pleased.
